I was on the hunt for a travel palette that would be convenient to use for both indoors and outdoors, and this is it! I can tell that a lot of thought was put into building this for the artist in mind. For example, the self-balancing water container substitutes the water cup. The half-pans are detachable so you can switch out paint easily. The cover can rotate up to 180 degrees, and the attachable handle ease up on gripping the palette if there's no place to sit.
Because of its travel-friendly size and ease of use, I am able to whip it out and paint whenever and wherever I want. Thank you for this wonderful creation.

first, it is so cute! You can carry it in your pocket, if you have a pocket, if not, a lanyard and you can carry it anywhere.
I usually paint a bit larger for plein air but I find that it is so easy to set up and start painting something small and low commitment when I got the Nomad, right on my desk, or a coffee shop's desk, just add napkins.
With such a convenient boi, you might be tempted get a couple more to have different palettes for nature, city, etc. ready to go, just open and paint.

Perfect for on the go painting! I love how light and small knit this kit is. Opens in seconds and the small transportable water is perfect! The handle is quite comfortable to hold.. Wherever, whenever I will be able to paint with this set!

Meet nomadPRO
- Angle adjustable cover: We chose to not limit you by using old school hinges. The cover is angle adjustable up 180 degrees with our custom designed hinge. Simply tilt the cover with satisfying clicks and enjoy all the angles.
- Color pans: 9 half pans in a 3X3 grid format. Each half pan can be push-fitted into and popped-out from its designated slot.
- Maximum line: For the seal mechanism to work, please always fill your half-pans below the maximum line. If overfilled, it'll overflow and there'll be leaks.
- Locking mixing palette tray: Mixing palette tray can be lock into is closed position with a satisfying click. We utilized a dual color scheme in our trays. Shell color is same with your color choice of nomad and the mixing palette is always in gray.
- Seal cover: The added cover seals the half pans and it will allow you true freedom of paint type choice and you won't need to worry about any leaked paints!
- Maximum line: For the seal mechanism to work, please always fill your half-pans below the maximum line. If overfilled, it'll overflow and there'll be leaks.
- Brush holders: 5 holes for commonly used brush sizes
- Multi-tool: We provide a two piece set of our multi-tool. Firstly, they can be used as a tweezer to pop-out the half pans and lift them out from their slots. Secondly, it can be used as a prying tool to easily open the seal cover. Finally it can be used as a clip to hold your papers or cardboards to the cover.
- The "tweezer-like" object has 3 main usages:
- Tweezer: It can be used as a tweezer to lift and move the half pans neatly.
- Prying tool: Perfect tool to pop-out the half pans from their push-fit position.
- Clip: You can get rid of the clunky binder clips and just carry a set of these multi-tools to fix your papers or cardboards to our easels.
- Self-balancing water case: Designed to minimize your spills! The water case will be staying flat to the ground even if you tilt the box (in frontal axis). It has two separate compartments and both have screw caps so everything can stay sealed. When it's flipped open it allows for more storage room inside of nomad for your tools when painting.
- Lanyard cord hole: Attach your lanyard or your keychain strap or wrist lanyard, or to your tow truck, it's up to you!
This is where you screw the handle!
- Handle, aka "the stick on the side?": It is a screwable handle that that goes to the bottom of your box so that you have more stability in a more ergonomic forearm position.
- Stash: The handle has a secret storage area!
- Universal tripod screw adapters: There are two screw adapters included, one for your tripod and one for your lanyard!
- Keychain cord hole: Attach your box to your keychain strap or wrist lanyard, it's up to you!
